擯治

The punishment of expulsion, which is of three orders:

(1) 擯出 expulsion from a particular monastery or nunnery, to which there may be a return on repentance;

(2) 默擯 prohibition of any intercourse;

(3) 滅擯 entire expulsion and deletion from the order.
